I started my apprenticeship at 17 years old at the local Toyota dealer in my home town of Griffith, NSW. After a year there, the owners of the Toyota opened a Volkswagen dealer, which I requested a transfer to as I knew that knowledge of this brand would be advantageous to my trade. After Qualifying in my trade in 2016, I moved to Canberra and continued to work for Volkswagen for another year. I then applied for a mobile mechanic job, which I was successful in obtaining. After spending a few years on the road as a mobile mechanic, working on a wide range of vehicle makes and models, I knew this was the right choice for me. I then worked towards opening my own business and working for myself, which led to me starting Johnston Mobile Mechanical. I continue to strive for professionalism and honesty, as well as a high-quality standard of work.
